¡°Love¡±, a project created for Siemens Art Program-What are they doing here
Explanation of the plan: Plan units of a couple of oaks along the new location of Siemens VDO. Including office, dometery, canteen and factory. The detailed the site and quantity refers to the original layout and confirms on the actual environment and condition.
Two machines: survive and love The Company-Life machine running perfectly. Inside it, everybody or everything has an accurate and exclusive position that forms every part of the machine. It is fixed and indispensable. The goal of this machine is to generate production value, like the common truism ¡°Find your right position to realize your value¡±. The principle of the running of the machine is like a contract ¨C fair, symmetrical and reciprocal. Everyone is endless. When we continue to function, we ¡°separate ourselves¡± into two parts who negotiate with each other, then be ¡°separated again¡± and finally be deconstructed into particular shattering pieces. It is because of the belief towards the machine (rather than the company's system) that holds together everybody's Company-Life. When its system isn't working perfectly, our belief continues to function. Frankly speaking, the Company-Life machine is everybody's surviving machine. It focuses on budget control, efficiency improvement, clear target, thrift rather than waste. But at the same time, the other machine that we own ¨C Love, whether in target, principle or function is opposite this surviving machine. The love machine combines two into one. An endless movement that opposites the surviving machine's movement. It combines instead of deconstructs. Thus what the love machine produces is chaotic, redundancy, unreasonableness, dissatisfactory, privacy and amphibology, like romance is a form of waste. We, at the same time, own the two machines. They are opposite to each other. The more the perfect the surviving machine runs, the weaker the love machine function; Or the more the prefect love machine runs, the weaker the surviving machine functions. What about introduces love machine (art is one of it) to the surviving machine? In terms of existing, love has always been the primitive revolutionary power. Perhaps we need guise and let artworks enter into such a space without any notice. It silently functions and people can even hardly discover its existence. But they do encounter them at certain moment, instead of a glance with easy trust or doubt. ¡°Love¡± is a project that involves ¡°two¡± and ¡°one¡±, unit, ¡°me¡± and ¡°you¡± and create a new ¡°one¡± under the real position.
